Between 2005 and 2010, I released three full-length albums and one EP as a performing songwriter. Often backed by my band, The Lost Cause, I played hundreds of shows and had the opportunity to open for artists like Brandi Carlile, Pete Yorn, Sleeping At Last, Richard Marx, and Nanci Griffith.
Though I'm no longer recording music as a solo artist, I wanted to create a space here celebrate those years. Thank you to all of you who came out to shows and supported me along the way. You can download free music at Noisetrade.
Recorded in Nashville during my final semester at Belmont University, this worship album helped me get my start as I led worship at camps and retreats all over the country. A video featuring my version of "It Is Well With My Soul" from this album has been viewed over 2 million times on YouTube.
After moving to Omaha, I recorded this album with Grammy Award-winning producer Jason Burkum at Empty House Studio. It helped me find a place in the Omaha music scene, and I'm proud of how it bridges the gap between secular and Christian music.
I recorded this EP of seven songs in one afternoon... just me and my trusty Gibson Hummingbird. The idea was to create a simple recording that made listeners feel like they were with me in my living room (not sure what I was thinking with that haircut).
This album was the culmination of several years of performing live with my band, The Lost Cause, and it's easily my favorite of my "solo" projects because it felt like such team effort. Making music and playing shows with Jake, Matthew, Jason, and Craig was always a good time.
